Unimaze was the technical lead for ICELAND-INV18, a Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) project that ran from April 2019 to January 2021. Eight Icelandic public bodies, including Reykjavík, Akureyri, Síminn, Reykjavík Social Housing and two energy companies, integrated Unimaze with their ERP systems to receive and process EN 16931 compliant e-invoices. The project received EUR 636,531 of EU funding.
Unimaze provides a certified Peppol Access Point service for Xero users, so that small business customers can issue and receive e-invoices over Peppol directly from their accounting software. Unimaze cites Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and Serbia as the active markets for the Xero integration.
After more than four years on the Serbian market, Unimaze operates as a Peppol Access Point and connects business users to Sistem eFaktura, Serbia's national e-invoicing platform. The product covers automated transmission, XML generation, PDF and XML conversion, mass sending, in-app invoice creation, and a Microsoft Teams view for invoice search and sharing.
Unimaze connects Icelandic businesses to Rafræn Reikningur (RR), the national e-invoicing system, and to the Peppol network. In 2009 the Icelandic government mandated that public sector entities use e-invoicing in their procurement processes, with public authorities accepting e-invoices compliant with EN 16931 through UBL 2.1 and Peppol BIS.
Unimaze prepared its Peppol Access Point service for Japanese businesses ahead of the country's Peppol e-invoicing rollout in October 2023. Services cover Peppol network onboarding, ERP integration, AS4 connectivity and ongoing maintenance for users adopting electronic invoicing under Japan's framework.
Unimaze maintains UniStyles, an open source XSLT stylesheet project on GitHub for displaying Peppol BIS invoices and credit notes that conform to the European Norm. The templates currently render localised output in English, Swedish, Polish and Icelandic, and accept community pull requests for additional languages.
