Luxembourg finally has a text. Bill 8815 was deposited in the Chamber on 30 July and would extend the 2019 e-invoicing law to domestic B2B. The dates in the deposited version are 1 January 2028 for entry into force, then issuing from 1 July 2028 for the larger companies and 1 January 2029 for everyone else. Worth stressing that parliament has not voted it, so none of that is law yet.

Does the bill actually name Peppol for the B2B leg, or is that left open? We are already on Peppol for the public sector side and would rather not run two routes.

Left open. The text names no network at all. It sets nine criteria the common delivery network has to meet, interoperability, openness, security, data protection by default and so on, then leaves a grand-ducal regulation to designate one against them. The B2G side already runs on Peppol, but the bill does not name it.
