A second FBR extension in four months for digital invoicing integration

FBR extending the digital invoicing integration deadline again is the second extension in four months. Understandable given the patchy onboarding readiness across non corporate registered persons, but it does start to undermine confidence in the deadline credibility. Anyone here with corporate filings already integrated, how is the practical experience of the DI platform?

We have integrated three corporate clients in Pakistan now and the platform itself is reasonably stable, the main pain point has been the certificate management process, it is not as clearly documented as it should be. The phased schedule under SRO 288/2026 is workable for organised businesses, the issue is the long tail of smaller registered persons who simply do not have the IT capability to integrate.

Echoing the certificate point, that was our biggest delay too. The PRAL helpdesk turnaround has improved a bit since January but it is still slower than ideal.
