Crea y Crece moves forward while Verifactu slips to 2027

The Crea y Crece process has dragged on for the better part of three years now, so this is a long awaited step. The bit that frustrates me a little is that Verifactu has been pushed back to 2027 again, separate regulation. From a tooling perspective we have been preparing for both in parallel and now we have to re plan the rollout sequence for our Spanish customer base. Still, at least the structured format requirement is being held firm, that was the right call.

Same here on the Verifactu shuffle, third time it has slipped. We had assumed a combined go live, now we are sequencing them separately in the 2026 product plan.

To be fair the AEAT pushed for the Verifactu split themselves, the original combined deadline was unrealistic for the SII reporting overlap. Splitting it gives the larger taxpayers a cleaner sequencing, even if it makes the product roadmap harder. The bigger issue in the Royal Decree text in my view is the ambiguity on intra group invoicing, that has not been clarified yet.
