OIOUBL to Peppol Consultation Concluded
Erhvervsstyrelsen published its consultation note after 12 responses. The move away from OIOUBL is confirmed, starting with the invoice, and the format is now referred to as Nemhandel Faktura because the agency will not use naming controlled by private parties. The 18-month migration window stands, with its split between test, phase-in and phase-out still to be agreed with stakeholders. A working group kicked off on 4 June 2026.

Document Strategy for a Single Peppol-Based Invoice Format Sent for Consultation
Erhvervsstyrelsen published its strategy to replace OIOUBL with a single format built on Peppol BIS 4 and Danish extensions under the PINT architecture. The consultation ran from 12 to 27 March 2026. The draft timetable puts a release candidate in the November 2027 deploy window, a final release in May 2028, mandatory support in November 2028 and the end of OIOUBL 2.1 in May 2029. Initial scope covers invoices, credit notes and invoice responses.
