Technical Update
myDATA 2.0.2 Widens Digital Handling of Goods Movements
AADE announced on 9 September 2026 that version 2.0.2 of myDATA would go live from 10 September, after a scheduled upgrade that morning. The release adds document types 1.4, 3.1, 3.2 and 11.5 to digital goods movement, updates the lifecycle and statuses of movement documents, allows quantitative receipt notes to be cancelled through an ERP or through a new provider method, supports partial delivery by a carrier, and adds a method for closing a movement on return. The timologio application gains delivery status display and rejection of a document by the recipient, and myDATAapp gains a weighing indicator and movement start without a means of transport.

Greece splits goods movement phase B under Decision A.1094/2026
AADE Decision A.1094/2026 of 29 April 2026 postpones and clarifies the implementation timeline for Phase B of the digital monitoring of inventory movements transmitted to myDATA. Phase B is split into two sub-phases: Phase B1 from 12 October 2026 (mandatory transmission of loading, transhipment, receipt of goods, traceability data, and quantitative and qualitative inventory controls), and Phase B2 from 1 January 2027 (unified item codification per Combined Nomenclature). Voluntary transmission of Phase B data has been allowed since 1 December 2025. These dates were later replaced by Decision A.1198/2026, which moved phase B1 to 1 January 2027 and phase B2 to 1 January 2028.

AADE Circular E.2004/2026 Sets Out E-Invoicing Penalties
Circular E.2004/2026 of 13 February 2026 states that an invoice issued by hand or by another technical means such as an ERP, rather than through a licensed electronic issuance provider or the AADE timologio application, counts as an invoice that was never issued. The only exception is a loss of connection caused by a power cut or an internet outage, in which case transmission follows paragraph 6 of Article 5 of Decision A.1138/2020. The fines of paragraphs 5 and 6 of Article 57 of Law 5104/2024 then apply: 50% of the tax the missing document would have carried for transactions carrying VAT, with floors of EUR 250 or EUR 500 per audit and higher rates on repeat, and EUR 500 or EUR 1,000 per audit for transactions outside VAT.
